I have a couple who have been claiming CTC and WTC, she was working over 30 hours as was he. They were getting WTC taking advantage of the £25,000 disregard as he only started working in Jun. She left her job voluntarily 4 weeks ago and he is now in a coma in hospital. Is getting SSP so can still be counted as in full time employment?
I think I have worked out that it is better for them to continue getting WTC as is and not reassessed as she may be going back to work, and for her to tell TO in March of changes. However I am now confused having read CPAG as to whether she has to tell them of change now even though he can still be counted as in full time work?
Any answers greatly appreciated I am seeing her again tomorrow and I'm confused!!
