Pension Credit PC10's
Wed 21-Jul-04 02:59 PM

Has anyone come across any problems with the form PC10? It is the one sent out by TPS when a PC recipient has been awarded AA/DLA, to see if the SDP is payable. The front of the PC10 is in the form of a letter asking the customer to fill in the attached form and return it to get the extra money. The actual questions start on the back of this 'letter' but some customers are tearing off this first page and only start answering the questions on page 2. TPS then need to send out a duplicate form as the first is returned incomplete. We have had situations were customers have got so confused with the PC10 that local service have had to visit to get it filled in correctly.
Although our local Pension Centres accept there is a problem, TPS at a higher level do not, so it would be useful to know what is happening elsewhere.
