I have a tribunal with a client who believed she was working under the permitted work lower limit rules and was earning £20.25, obviously 25p over. Are there any allowable expenses that would take her below the £20. She said she did inform DWP just after starting by handing in a wage slip and a letter but neither can be found by DWP. I notice that notification should be done before the permitted work CEASES, she was investigated prior to stopping work, does that mean that the DWP have been informed and relieve her from that obligation?
