Hi - I need help with something I have not been able to find an answer for.

Factual scenario:

A person is in receipt of Working Tax Credits and help with childcare costs. HB makes an allowance of her childcare costs because she is working 16 hours per week.

She rthen educes her number of working hours to 10 and informs WTC immediately. They therefore stop paying her WTC and childcare costs but do make a run-on payment of 4 weeks.

She also informs HB about the change of circumstances. As her no. of hours is now less than 16, HB does not make an allowance for her childcare costs, therefore the help she gets for these costs from WTC makes her ineligible to HB.

Question:

Presumably there is a provision to allow for the HB allowance to be made during a run-on period but I cannot find it. Can anyone help?
