Appeal Letters
Fri 05-Jun-09 02:00 PM

Hello all

I have noticed that the option to send a letter of appeal instead of sending a GL24 has disappearded from our local benefits agency award letters. Is anyone aware of any changes which now mean a letter cannot be sent in place of a GL24.

There is no requirement for the appeal notice to be in any particular format as long as it contains certain particulars (rule 23 of The Tribunal Procedure (First-tier Tribunal) (Social Entitlement Chamber) Rules 2008).
