Friday afternooon general musings...
Fri 16-Sep-05 12:56 PM

the new electronic-style PCA report, now well established throughout the land, is as far as i can see showing a definite trend. im amazed at the number of appeals i pick up where even with a long-term illness and claim history, clients are being awarded 0pts.

i'm having little if any problem getting these decisions overturned but it seems to me that the AMOs are being affected by a "transfer of responsibility" for want of a better phrase.

with the new drop-down sentences provided for them, and the absence of the AMO actually writing anything down it seems easier for them to give 0pts as its the computer effectively telling them what to record.

obviously there's PCAs tht do pass, n being in this line of work we dont get to see the positive reports. and apologies for my rambling

Jason

I've replied to your post on the DLA forum, for reasons which will become apparent if you read the post.
