Personal capability assessment
Thu 23-Jul-09 04:11 PM

Hello All, I have a PCA appeal next Monday. I have just spotted a decision maker's statement within the papers which includes the following assertions:

The medical officer's findings are appropriate to the narrow confines of the PCA which is merely a mechanism for measuring capability within the context of the nominal needs of a normal daily living routine.

The use of the word narrow and nominal stand out, to me, as being inappropriate in regards to the PCA. Does anyone agree and can anyone point to any case-law, regs etc which I can use at the hearing?
