Interest payments.
Fri 25-Sep-09 02:01 PM

Hi, we understand that clients can get DWP interest payment on qualifying works on a property, but does anyone know if this has to be in the form of a secured loan on the house or if the client can take a personal (unsecured) loan and still get interest payments?

Thanks for your help.

There is no requirement for the loan to be secured. It is the purpose, not the nature of the loan that matters.

Good idea to have all the receipts though!
