Welfare to work
Tue 18-May-10 10:57 AM

The new Government says it will end all current welfare to work programmes and create a single welfare-to-work programme. Do we know what's encompassed in that? Does it include the various back to work type credits? Extended payments of HB, CTB, mortgage interest? Pathways to work? etc etc

This lot are clearly prepared to risk the wrath of every parent, pupil and teacher by planning to scrap Building Schools for the Future.

So nibbling a few benefit provisions will be like the nibbles before the bread roll before the first course.

Now for the more serious answer - it's all unclear! See http://www.dwp.gov.uk/supplying-dwp/what-we-buy/welfare-to-work-services/notices-to-providers/ for the latest.
