Triplets aged 3months & DLA
Tue 03-Oct-06 04:13 PM

Has anyone out there had experience of applying for and getting DLA for 3month old babies? We have a parent with triplets that have a variety of problems from PDA (hole in the heart), chronic lung disease, and intersex issues (born without external sexual organs) to hearing loss. We also think they will have developmental delays. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good web resource or give us some tips.
We have plenty of experience of Child DLA, the extra tests etc, but haven't done one for babies that only just qualify, so any advice would be helpful.
Thanks

The June 2005 Disability Living Allowance Advisory Board 'News and Updates' publication includes a table detailing the milestones for 'normal' development in children -
