Secretary of State for Work and Pensions v Jones (2002)

Has anyone got a copy of this court of appeal decision - about school holidays and assessing attention needs of a child over the whole year to include holidays

Hi Daphne, have you tried CPAG because I think they represented in this case and would presumably have a copy. Paul

There was a consent order issued and the Commissioners decision was set aside so there won't be a full decision for you to find.I have a copy of that if you a re still looking for it.

A similiar case is that CDLA 3737/2002 appealled under Secretary of State for Work and Pensions v Hughes ( a minor) <2004> EWCA civ 16. The Court threw out the appeal. It deals with attention needs at school and Commssioner Turnbull awarded MR care component over school holidays. In that case Jones is referred to.
