Client is on sick leave from work, SSp has expired so went on to IB but the found capable of work and is appealing. She is still under contract with employer who is currently exploring redeployment. She is concerned about her NI record and wants to sign on for credits at least although may also qualify for contJSA. I sort of instinctively think she cannot sign on whilst she is still under contract but cannot find the provision preventing her from doing this. Does anyone know what the provision is or am I wrong?
