Just a final reminder that the next NAWRA meeting will be held this coming Friday, 1st December, at Nye Bevan House, 20 India Street Glasgow G2 4PF.

We have Sir Richard Tilt, Social Fund Commissioner, as guest speaker. Workshops include a look at the Welfare Reform Bill, with Simon Osborne of CPAG, a discussion around the future of welfare delivery, with Terry Patterson of Manchester Advice, and a look at the Scottish National Standards for Advice.

It promises to be an excellent event, as always, and Glasgow is an superb city to visit at any time of the year.

For those arriving on Thursday evening, the famed social event will be held at The Griffin, 226 Bath St, Glasgow, G2 4JP (0141 331 5171). This is quite near the India Street venue. Meet there from 7 pm. There will undoubtedly be some post-conference entertainment on the Friday evening too!
