Got a client only just changing from S.S.P to I.B. Currently receiving D.L.A HC HM.Please could anyone kindly refresh my memory as regards which rate of I.B would be applicable at this period of the claim?

After 28 weeks of incapacity go onto short-term higher rate currently £66.15. SSP paid for first 28 weeks if you have an employer.

But if terminally ill OR on High Care go onto "equivalent of long term rate" after 28 weeks - see CPAG p277.
