The Ministry of Justice has today published a new report that looks at the impact of legal aid reform and the recession on the provision of local legal advice.
Work on the 'Bach report' was announced in December 2008 by the Legal Aid Minister Lord Bach in response to concerns about the impact of recent reforms such as fixed fees on the provision of civil legal advice and the likelihood that the recession would increase demand.
