I hope someone can help.

I have a client with a set of appeal papers for SSMG

Client receives £819.00 from 7/7/09-5/4/10 then £276.00 from 6/4/10-6/710. Total £1095.00

I beleive if someone gets £1095 then they ought to be entitled to SSMG is this right?

Next Tax credits have client down as earning £27,500 in 2008/9 but wifwe is now on maternity pay of £120 per week so husband and wife total income for 09/10 will be £20,000. They rang TCO and been advised to ring back when maternity pay stops. i think they can ask for an in year adjustment as a call to TCo today sugested that if a couple earn less than £23,500 they would get SSMG.

However they are 3 months after date of child birth is there anything we can do and would this appeal be successful?

please can anyone help Im not sure I have got this right?
