Case Management Systems
Thu 28-Aug-08 12:49 PM

We are a Local Authority welfare rights service with a number of specialist teams dealing exclusively with welfare benefits and are looking for case management software. We are looking for software that would allow running records to be maintained, be compliant with CLS specialist quality mark, provide statistics on the work that we have carried out and have the flexibility for us to produce our own ad hoc reports on the work of the individual specialist teams.

We would like to consider as many different packages as possible and I would be grateful if people could tell me what package they use and the strengths/weaknesses of that system.

Please email if you do not want to post on an open forum

Thanks in advance

We use WROSeS which is a "secure comprhensive web-based mobile-device ready case management system" . This was originally developed by a private software technology firm called Iizuka with Lancashire CC Welfare Rights. A number of other WR services also use it, including our neighbours at Durham CC.

Here's the WROSeS website - www.wroses.com

I'm pleased with the system overall. It's easy to use and has been very reliable for us over the 2 years we have used it.

I think you'd be best contacting Iizuka first but I'm happy to chat or show you round our version of the system.

Iizuka are presently developing an enhanced reporting tool for the system.

We have the SQM & a LSC general civil contract which WROSeS complies with.

I hope this helps

We use AIMs. Advisers use it across the County and have had no problems. It really has enhanced our stats recording, case recording etc. Suggest you speak to AIMs team if you receive funding under LSC contract.

We're using CaseTrack by Zebra Computer Solutions. Personally, I don't like it - too many crashes and minor niggles that make it less user friendly than I'd like. But it is fully compliant with LSC and has a good range of reports available.
