A recent email from the Adelphi suggests that the DWP intends to introduce rules to bring PC into line with the 26 week rule that applies to Non Deps in HB/CTB for those aged 65+. The email suggests they have hitherto been operating the anniversary date system (that I thought had been abandoned because it was impossible to operate etc). Is this your understanding? Will the new rule be retrospective? (maybe it does not need to be). A brief survey of various advice web sites suggests that the 26 week rule already applies to PC.
