Probs with the UT website
Wed 24-Feb-10 12:22 PM

Hello all... Anyone having problems with the UT/OSSC website? It seems I am unique in our office in stuggling to open decisions. If I get anywhere is takes ages, we're talking 10-20 minutes and it will often just hang the browser.

I suspect it's something to do with my anti-virus-Norton Endpoint Protection working as a standalone installation (only me and the server have Norton hence it's the prime suspect) and would be interested to hear if anyone else has probs and also whether if I were to free up a particular port it might resolve. (for the techies)

Ta!

I know what you mean however for the time being I am stuck with what I am stuck with. I'm sat behind a NAT box that's probably good enough but in this day and age "probably" isn't good enough.

i have a lot of trouble with it - if i search for decisions and get a list up, i can only open one decision, and to look at others, have to re-load the page, and frequently can't get round it by that method, because i get error messages pages. it's difficult to know whether its a prob this end or their end...i hate norton too, and AVG is nearly as bad...

i have that problem on various systems

vista with AVG

don't think it makes any difference, pain in the whatever!

I don't have any obvious problems with IE and avast! (the punctuation belongs to the trade name.)
