Hi I have a problem with some of our corporate appointees. While Social Services are funding we have no problem getting the client's personal allowances to them but once the clients placements become funded by PCT's we lose track of them and have problems delivering their monies to them. Prior to my joining the section we just relinquished appointeeship for this reason but this would leave the clients with no-one looking after their financial interests. We also have no way of tracking any change in their circumstances. Another question is: Are health funded clients entitled to full benefit rate for the first 52 weeks? If anyone has come accross this problem before? Any help would be gratefully accepted.
