apparently contains a one legged man who attended a esa medical and the doctor missed the fact he was missing a leg.

Missed this - did anyone see the programme and how was it?

We're just dealing with two cases - one where the client had stitches in his shoulder and a sling on that was taken no account of whatsoever and one for a client with his leg in plaster due to a bad break who was on crutches which also seems to have been disregarded completely at the medical.

Well......makes a change for the programme not to be all about benefit cheats but about the real problems facing genuinely ill people who claim ESA.

decent programme. pity it was only on for half an hour where as benefit busters etc got a few weeks worth of hour long shows.

most interesting part was that even a freedom of information request didnt get full details of the contract between the dwp and atos. i have always thought there was no way the government would be as blatant as to pay doctors to fail claimants but that bit being blocked out makes me wonder!

it did need more than the 1/2 hour it was given, could have done with some more actual examples, too much time with the camera on the journalist...but it's a start!
