Regs state nil entitlement if she is a member of & fully maintained by a religious order.

If the nuns are members of a religous order which does not fully maintain them i.e they are dependent on the goodwill of the community, then the claims should be accepted. A few years ago I made a number of successful claims for such orders for IS. PC should be no different.

It's Friday afternoon and I'm mulling this one over (for no good reason really). Surely, the nuns are wholly mainatained by the order. The order may be dependent on the good will of the community but wouldn't the order be a separate legal "entity" to the individual sisters? The order would maintain them. Also, many enclosed orders engage in various business activities. The customers may be demonstarting a degree of goodwill but it is still a business. Would this make a difference.
