NAWRA, Glasgow, 12th September 2008
Mon 11-Aug-08 02:28 PM

Hi

Just to confirm that we have Mark Rowland, Commissioner, as guest speaker at the next NAWRA meeting. This is being held in Glasgow on Friday 12th September 2008.

Commissioner Rowland will speak on the topic "Tribunal Reform - will it make any difference?". He will also take questions.

As if this wasn't enough, Commissioner Rowland has also agreed to host workshops during the day! These will be on the subject of "Representing claimants before Commissioners or the Upper Tribunal" and promise to allow plenty of opportunity for discussion. I am sure these workshops will be popular so come early!!

The full agenda will be published shortly on the NAWRA website at www.nawra.org.uk. Full details of the venue can also be found there along with a membership application form for those of you who haven't yet joined.

Do come along to Glasgow and make this another successful event!

Best wishes,

Alan Markey
NAWRA chair.

Alan

This'll be my first NAWRA meeting - do I have to reserve a place or anything like that?

Cheers

Ali

Hi Ali

You don't need to reserve a place on this occasion - some venues do ask for this so always check details on www.nawra.org.uk. You do need to be a member of NAWRA to attend - if you or your organisation are not members you can join up via the membership form at http://nawra.org.uk/contact.htm or by emailing kelly@nawra.org.uk.

Hope you manage to come along!

Best wishes,

Alan

The agenda for the meeting is now available at www.nawra.org.uk/schedule.htm. It looks like a good one!

For those who are travelling on Thursday, there will be a get-together at the Griffin Bar on Bath Street from 7 pm. Details are included in the agenda that can be downloaded from the previous link.

See you there!

Alan
