The Low Incomes Tax Reform Group (LITRG) is compiling a list of unanswered questions about tax credits and a wish list of improvements.

This covers many of the issues debated on rightsnet over the last year or so, coupled with those areas where we have yet to see much of the action, for example, detailed enquiries, penalties, contract offers, reasonable excuse, interaction with self assessment enquiries, etc.

LITRG (together with others) wish to make this as comprehensive as possible, press for change or better information from the Revenue and hold it on our website (www.litrg.org.uk) with updates as the questions are bottomed out or the wishes fulfilled (no promises mind you!).

If you would like to rant to us for your favourite change or issue by using the "contact us" part of our website then please do. If we already have an answer to your "unanswered question" we will try and tell you, if not we will add it to our list. The things we want to cover are points of principle in the law or in the operation of the practice. Be patient with us if you do not hear immediately, as we are a relatively small group.

We would hope to post up the list no later than early August.
