Having a Friday morning moment and could use a bit of help please.

I vaguely recall reading somewhere in the dim and distant past that the Local Authorities get a financial incentive for every disabled person in receipt of DLA & AA to cover extra care costs, can anyone please confirm if this is true and how is it calculated and where does it come from?

I'm not sure whether it is exactly what you want but there is a good article in the July/Aug issue of the Adviser which considers the impact of AA/DLA take up on central government funding to local authorities

Its a NACAB mag, we were after a copy of the article and Bristol CC Welf Supremo kindly sent us a copy, give us your fax number and we will fax it via Esther/Gladys to leafy Sherborne across the South Somerset/West Dorset divide.

Message for Gary who emailed us for a copy, for some bizarre reason our IT system allows your email to come to us, but when we try to reply to you it comes back as undeliverable (happens from time to time with other emails, don't know why?).
