My client made a claim for CHB earlier this year, because his son came to live with him on a 5 day basis, weekends with his mother. Although he never received and decision letter confirming entitlement, CHB was paid into his Bank acccount for a 2 week period, then stopped. My client believes that his ex-partner is having HMRC stop the payments, so that she can receive it. Are there any Commisioner Decisions that support a claim for the parent that makes a claim for CHB and who has the majority responsibility for the child?
