My client is getting GC and was awarded AA but the SDP was only added to her GC from the next Monday following the start date of her AA. Is this right or should it have been added from the date of the AA award?

It’s right. An increase in PC which takes effect from a day which is not the first day of the claimant’s benefit week shall take effect from the first day in the next benefit week (reg 16A(3) of The Claims and Payment Regs).
