Michael Wendling has contacted us to say -

'The BBC Current Affairs department is interested in speaking with people who have lost out on Incapacity Benefit – or who had to go through the appeals process – due to a substandard or 'C grade' medical assessment report.

Email Michael.wendling@bbc.co.uk - all communication will be held in the strictest confidence.'

Just to add that Mr Wendling travelled some distance and spent several hours going through reams of no doubt very tedious information in this regard and is prepared to take time and trouble to understand the issues, something most journalists seem unable or unprepared to do.

A programme on this issue might be a welcome change from the endless diet of Catch a Benefits Cheat programmes we're currently being offered.
