I never thought I would be saying this butI have a client who has received very positive help as a result of being in the WRAG. She has now got an incontinence nurse, a social worker, direct payments for care and has been told she can have her interviews by phone as her advisor recognises she had difficulty getting to the job centre for interviews. Brilliant service, she has received more help than the NHS offered but why on earth is she in the WRAG. I am currently appealing that decision and will be using evidence from the incontinence nurse, the social worker and her care plan assessment used for direct payments. MAD OR WHAT? The next WCA is one year in her case. I asked that question before I appealed.
