re Pension Appeal Tribunals and War Pension refusal

A long shot.

Has anyone recently represented at a PAT on an issue of attributability?

In particular in relation to a genetic disorder that existed prior to service enrolment and subsequently the rating was discharged on grounds of inacapacity?

I understand that the onus of proof is on the SoS and the standard is beyond reasoanble doubt.

Is anyone aware of any useful recent case law (High Court or unreported IT)on attributality (article 4 & 5 of the Service Order), annotated legislation or guidance on the law of War Pensions?

Try contacting the Local British Legion Welfare Officer, or SSAFA as they often represent veterans at these tribunals.
