Hi, I have a client whose social fund payment has been paid into an incorrect account, she did give them the PO account number 2 digits incorrect, the sort code and name were correct.

DWP have told her she cannot have the money because the wrong account person will not pay back the money to them.

Does anybody have any ideas where I can get information to show the DWP that they have to pay the client her award, I can't believe that what they are saying is correct.
