a snowy early monday afternoon hello !
have a cl. who took out mortgage 11/95. she works 12 hrs pw earning just above the amount of her weekly i.s appl. amount. has submitted claim for i.s housing costs and has been told she has to wait 39 weeks because not in receipt of relevant benefit, fair enough. if cl. were to reduce her hours so she qualified for a very small amount of i.s and reclaimed this benefit would she fall under the new rules from 05/01/09 where she only has to wait 13 weeks. i don't think so ? i feel she would still have to wait 39 weeks because she has unsuccessfully claimed a relevant benefit. any ideas greatly appreciated ...
