Anyone else working today?

Client aged 64 phoned the 0800 0 55 66 88 claim number when he finished working (Sacked) and was told to claim CB (JSA) he did this until he was sanctioned and had no money coming in.

We then seen him and changed it to Pension Credit Guarantee requesting it be backdated to cover the two months he was on CB (JSA) simple enough?

Wrong PC are saying backdating refused due to being on CB (JSA) it's one or the other but not both?

Checked CPAG at pages 395 and 461 but can see no reason why CB (JSA) and Pension Credit Guarantee could not be claimed at the same time.?

Any help?

appeal the decision stating that your client was misdirected by the pension service and jsa section.

There is already a compensation claim and complaint in and pending with the Job-Centre and HB section as they also failed this client..
