are hosting a Welfare Rights Conference on FRIDAY 19th MARCH 2004

MENTAL HEALTH AND WELFARE BENEFITS CONFERENCE

Over one third of all incapacity and disability benefit claims are made by people with a mental health problem.

Due to this SAMH are running a one day conference which aims to highlight some of the complex issues that welfare rights officers and support workers face when dealing with benefit claims for people who experience mental health problems.

The conference will be useful not only for welfare rights advisors, but also to support workers, social workers, community psychiatric nurses and employment advisors.
