could provide advice to a friend of mine over there. has trigeminal neuralgia after dental surgery and the pain is getting too much for her; she needs sensible face to face advice on her position due to complicated employment pattern. my feeling is (once she gets beyond SSP, if her employers will even pay that!) that the BA would say she'd be fit for work and she'll have to argue ... clearly i'm no good to her here in durham!
