Welfare Reform Bill
Thu 22-Jan-09 01:21 PM

Has anyone done any briefings around the welfare reform bill? I`m trying to get to grips with the implications. For example, not sure how the DWP proposals around piloting of individual budgets links in with the previuos pilot? The Bill raises all sorts of issues - any feedback on implications would be appreciated.

We did a briefing on the White Paper which preceded the Bill, you can download a copy here

There is an article summarising the contents of the Welfare Reform Bill in the February 2009 edition of the DA members' newsletter as well, although you need to be a member to get a copy of this.

And there are links to the briefings from Mind, National Aids Trust and TUC here
