Processing delays in Tameside
Thu 27-Aug-09 11:12 PM

I'm on my hols at the minute but a friend's just asked me something so I thought I post...

How long do Tameside LA take to spot changes of circs? A person has gone to jail for probably two months of an 8 month sentence. In Brum they probably wouldn't even have opened the letter notifying them within 2 months never mind acted on it and I wonder whether Tameside might be similar.

Although now a little out of date, the DWP performance figures shows Tameside responding to changes of circumstances within 8 days on average. This compares with 16 days for Birrmingham.

Have a look at Tameside's website : their HB processing performance is on there (well, up until June 2009 anyway).
