length of BAMS Doctor's assessments
Thu 18-Mar-04 01:58 PM

I have had a number of DWP Submission papers through recently, where the BAMS Doctor has recorded the length of the assessment (even when assessing both physical and mental health decsriptors) to be 15 minutes.

I am trying to formulate an argument for use at tribunals on the basis that the BAMS evidence cannot be relied on due to the shortness of assessment.

I am sure this is not a new argument. Anyone had any luck with it? Or know any decent caselaw to support the argument?

I am running my own contest to see the quickest BAMS assessment. My best (or rather worst) PCA was 15 minutes. Anyone got any quicker ones?
