I'm attending ESA training in Manchester next Monday 10/3. This is organised by LSC Specialist Support but I'm expecting the trainers to be either CPAG or LASA. Details should be available on the LSC website. I guess my course might be full but there may be others available. These LSC-commissioned courses are a bargain - usually only £30-40 - but I think they're only available to contract/SQM holders. Hope this helps - Matthew

Thanks to you both.

I only just found out about the LSC one in Manchester after doing a search this morning. Unfortunately it's booked up and yes you're right, the trainers are CPAG.

I've had a look at the CLT info and see they're charging £240 (50% for members) so I've had a word with local CAB who in theory have agreed in-house training might be the best way forward so other local advors can all attend.

If anyone else knows of anything though I'd be grateful.

I went to information session about it at the Chorlton BDC , think it was arranged by the Local Authority Liaison Officer, I think they were going to arrange further sessions, not sure if this is any help
