Client says she did not get a renewal form. Got a notification in August of TC stopping. Wrote to them in August telling them had not had a renewal form & that her circumstances hadn't changed. Is waiting on response, but has now had demand from their Debt Management for the "overpaid" money.

I know the renewal deadline is 31 July, but have a vague recollection that I read somewhere that they were allowing a month's grace. Has anyone else heard this, or did I dream it?

Providing that the declaration is completed within 30 days of the Statement of Account then the award can be reinstated. It can be reinstated after this (up to 31st Jan 09) if there is good cause.

It used to be just in guidance, but was put into regs this year.
