Has anyone had any experience of evidencing the link between onset of MS and service in the armed forces? The client in my case was not diagnosed until about 18 months after leaving the armed forces.
Any tips or case law that people are aware of?

Not aware of any case law but the MS Society have a national support group - Mutual Support - that aims to provide information and advice for people in the Forces affected by MS -

There is research in America exploring potential links between MS and service personnel exposed to germ, nerve gas and radiological weapons but the research is still in its infancy and it may be years before any conclusions can be drawn.

Generally, environmental factors in causation are also being explored across larger sections of the medical profession and research scientists than previously. Searching their journals may yield something.
