Pre Budget Report
Mon 14-Dec-09 12:39 PM

1) The government says that it will "launch an immediate consultation on its approach to Housing Benefit reform and affordability" in paragraph 5.17 of the report. Does anyone have any idea what immediate means or whether this is the long awaited green paper on housing benefit?

2) Any sign of the new benefit rates?

The lone parent and under 1 premiums have been missed off the Housing Benefit rates. They can be found in the council tax rates.
