Best decision ever?
Fri 30-May-08 10:57 AM

From a letter sent to my client by the local Benefits Delivery Centre:

"We have looked at the facts and evidence we used to make our decision. As a result we have changed the decision.

Your appeal will not be sent to The Appeals Service as the decision has been changed in your favour.

This means from 28 February 1852 you will get £0.00 a week."

............the reasons for the decision are that in February 1852 as a member of the British Army you were sent overseas as part of a force to counter the growing Russian threat in the Crimea prior to it all kicking off in 1853. You are therefore not present in the UK. You have 10 minutes to appeal against this decision.
