Evidence to argue caselaw for parking fines Wed 28-Jan-04 02:56 PM
Hi I hope someone can help? I have a client who has applied for a blue badge she is receipt of Higher Rate AA. She currently has a resident parking badge, she replaced the old out of date badge with a new up to date version. But she put the new one behind the old one. So the parking attendant only saw the old out of date badge. IS there any good arguements decisions I can use?

Hi
I have had quite a bit of dealings with Westminster, not the easiest council to deal with. I would draw up a statutory declaration - a simple statement - and have it sworn (cost £5.00 at any solicitor) and sent it to Westminster asking them to waive the fine before County Court action is taken. You can email me at patrick@powell-solicitors.co.uk for a sample statement
