As there is a reciprocal agreement with Canada can LTR IB and both components of DLA be exported?

Hi Sue,

As far as I know the reciprocal agreement is for benefit and ID fraud - dont know of the details of exporting DLA or IB to Canada or other countries of the Windsor agreement - check with the overseas section of DWP - SP can be taken to Canada but as I understand this is frozen

No help there then - sorry

According to the International Pension Centre website, the agreement with Canada does not cover either IB or DLA.

When I last looked, all the international reciprocal social security agreements are in the Blue Volumes on the advisers' section of the DWP website. It's worth checking the actual text.
