DLA For Autonomic dysfunction
Fri 24-Apr-09 11:02 AM

I have applied for DLA for a client who suffers from this disease. Nil award, DBC did not contact her psychiatrist or send an emp. I have appealed requesting an EMP.
Has anybody had a claim or appeal for this type of disorder.?

any tips would be gratfully accepted.

Steph

I can't imagine what this disease could be, unless it is a posh term for restless leg syndrome. What are the symptoms? Bear in mind that DLA is decided on disability not diagnosis, so you need to look at the effect on this individual. With the great majority of physiological disorders, no two people are affected identically!
