Carers Allowance - Earnings over £95 Thu 09-Jul-09 08:02 PM
I appled for carers allowance and reduced my hours so that I earned under £95 per week (or £411.67 per month as I am paid monthly). This was in February, so when I got paid I had a tax refund in my pay. this put me over £411.67 in that month. I was therefore refused CA for that month. I have appealed. Does anyone have any knowledge of whether a tax adjustment should be classed as income.
