Acas publishes new guidance on handling coronavirus at work

Advice includes how to deal with staff in quarantine, as well as those who do not want to come into work due to fears over catching the virus

Acas has published new guidance on handling coronavirus (COVID-19) at work.

Responding to the coronavirus outbreak, Acas Chief Executive Susan Clews said today -

'The increase in coronavirus cases is headline news around the world and there are genuine concerns around how to deal with its impact on UK workplaces.

Employers and workers have started to get in touch with us to ask what their rights are at work when dealing with potential coronavirus cases.

As a result, the new guidance is designed to help people understand their rights in relation to the impact of the virus at work including -
