National Assistance (Assessment of Resources) Amendment (Scotland) Regulations 2012

New statutory instrument amends the the National Assistance (Assessment of Resources) Regulations 1992 so as to uprate the capital limit, and amounts used in calculation of tariff income from capital, in Scotland from 9 April 2012.

Care Quality Commission publishes 20 reports from unannounced visits to hospitals and care homes

Reports, focusing on care of people with learning disabilities, find that four locations compliant with both 'safeguarding' and 'care and welfare' outcomes, two had a major concern and a moderate concern and three had a moderate concern for both outcomes.
