Who we train -

Lasa's welfare benefits training courses are specifically designed to meet the needs of advice workers ranging from those working in the independent advice sector, to local authority staff and lawyers. Whatever level you're at we have a course to suit you.

Our courses are Law Society accredited and most have a maximum of twelve participants. This ensures that everyone receives individual attention, and it allows trainees to share ideas and establish links with others working in the field.

Lasa's introductory level courses are aimed at staff (paid or voluntary) working in either a supportive or advisory role with people claiming benefits; whilst intermediate and advanced courses are aimed at specialist advisers. Some courses do require prior knowledge of the benefit system.
